Plastic Eaten by Street Cat

Samson:

This is our tribute to Samson, an adorable four week old orange kitten. We only had him for one week but in that short span of time, he successfully stole our hearts, gifting us with smiles and laughter. We never heard how he lost touch with his mother, only heard all his siblings had died.

From the start, we were amazed at his spunk and stamina, reflected by a loud cry for his bottle. He had a motor engine purr. He knew how to get and keep your attention, informing you he was in control of the situation and you. He loved to nestle and sleep on your neck, in your arms, content as long as he felt your touch and warmth. I carried him around on my waist in a fanny pack most of the time (with little hand towels under him). There, he would sleep peacefully for a long while or until he was hungry again. He nursed about every three to four hours.

Sadly, something went wrong today. He became partially paralyzed and we had to have him put to sleep. Now, there’s a hole in our hearts where he made his imprint.. So, this is our tribute to a beautiful little creature of God, sent here to bless us for too short a time, now safe, happy and whole in a better place.

Thank you, Samson, we love you and will never forget you.
